Bio
Edwards made quite an impact in his two seasons with St. Mary’s Men’s Basketball, being named Newcomer of the Year by the Heartland Conference in 2004 and Player of the Year in 2005. He helped lead the 2005 Rattlers to a 23-7 record, the Heartland Conference regular-season and tournament titles in addition to a trip to the NCAA Regionals. He averaged 11.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game as a senior that season. In his first season, the Rattlers finished in second place in the league and were runners-up at the conference tournament. The standout guard scored a career-best 23 points and dished out 12 assists for single-game highs during his time with the Gold and Blue. Edwards recorded multiple assists in 43 of his 57 games as a Rattler and had five or more assists 15 times.
  
Currently
Edwards has been a financial advisor for 15 years since graduating from St. Mary’s, and he also owns Clutch Sports Academy in North Fort Worth. There, he works with kids on strength and conditioning specialized for their specific sports.
