Foward (1989-1993)
Elliott Henderson had an outstanding four-year Rattler career, finishing 10th on St. Mary’s All-Time Scoring list with 1,386 points while also pulling down 950 career rebounds. He had 19 double-doubles in 27 games as a senior, and in his next to last game of his career, Henderson set a school record by scoring 51 points in the win over Mary Hardin-Baylor. He was an outstanding low-post scorer and had a shooting range beyond the three-point line. In his junior and senior seasons, Henderson averaged a double-doubles both years, earning All-American Honorable Mention twice. His senior year was his best season, averaging 19.1 points and 11.5 rebounds per contest. After his time as a Rattler, Henderson embarked on a professional career that spanned the continent of Europe, playing pro ball in Austria, Luxembourg, Finland, Switzerland, Geneva and France.
