Women's Golf Sees Trio Named All-Conference

THACKERVILLE, Okla. — The St. Mary's University Women's Golf team had three student-athletes honored on the Lone Star All-Conference teams at the pre-championship banquet on Sunday evening.
 
Junior Libby Kilbride (Sheffield, England) was tabbed to the First Team in a vote by the league's coaches, while senior Rebecca Reed (Midland, Texas) and freshman Savannah Dupre (Boerne, Texas) each earned Second-Team honors.

Kilbride has a 74.60 stroke average and has finished inside the top-25 in six of the team's nine tournaments this season. Of those six, four times she's been a top-10 finisher. 
 
Reed leads the team with a 74.52 stroke average and has placed in the top-25 in all but one tournament. Earlier this season, she tied her own school record with a 54-hole total of 210 (69-71-70) to finish third at the Emerald Coast Collegiate. Reed was a First-Team selection in 2022, and this is her second-straight second-team pick.
 
Dupre made an immediate impact on the team in the fall, winning the Midwestern State Invitational in October. In her five tournaments, she has four top-25 finishes, two top-10 finishes and a 74.93 stroke average. She unfortunately suffered an injury in February and missed the final four regular-season tournaments, but is listed as an alternate for the Lone Star Championships, beginning on Monday morning.
