RICHARDSON, Texas -- Three days after winning the first tournament in his collegiate career, St. Mary's junior
Sebastian Tannum Donaldson earned Golfer of the Week honors by the Lone Star Conference.
The Seer Green, Buckinghamshire, England native shot under par in both rounds, combining for a 141 (70-71) to win the Jack Brown Memorial Invitational in Laredo. His three-under-par total over 36 holes won by one stroke as he took the lead on the first day and never fell further than second throughout the tournament.
Donaldson is the third different Rattler to win a tournament this season and is the second golfer of the week by the league.
The Rattlers host the annual Rattler Invitational at Old Dominion Country Club on Feb. 20-21.Â
