NORMAN, Okla. — With the start of the 2026-27 Men's Golf season right around the corner, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced that St. Mary's University is ranked 13th in the Preseason Bushnell/Golfweek DII Coaches Poll.
The Rattlers, who return four from last season's team and welcome five talented freshmen to the fold, received 180 points and are one of three Lone Star Conference teams (West Texas A&M, DBU) ranked in the top-25.
Defending national champion, Florida Southern, received 13 of the 16 first-place votes and 430 points to top the poll, while Lee, Georgia Southwestern, Grand Valley State and Columbus State round out the top five.
St. Mary's begins the fall portion of the schedule by hosting the Dewsweeper Invitational on Sept. 14-15 at TPC San Antonio.
