NORMAN, Okla. — The 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for NCAA Division II have been announced, and St. Mary's University had a pair of golfers honored on the team.
Philip Hallström (Gävle, Sweden) and
Baptiste Touchard (Saint-Agathon, France) both earned the GCAA honor for the first time in their career.
Hallström posted a stroke average of 74.57 in 2024-25, competing in 10 of the team's 12 tournaments. He had two top-10 finishes, including tying for second place at the Lone Star Conference Championship.
Touchard finished inside the top 25 in 11 of the 12 tournaments, collecting seven top-10 finishes. He ended the year with a 71.76 stroke average and was an All-American Third Team selection by GCAA.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore or above both academically and athletically, must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
