SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's University senior golfer
Kongpop Kaikaew was named to the 2026 NCAA Division II PING All-America Third Team, the GCAA announced on Friday, June 12.
Kaikaew, from Rayong, Thailand, wrapped up his standout career with the prestigious honor after being ranked in the top 10 much of the 2025-26 regular season by Scoreboard powered by clippd.
He finished in the top 25 in eight of the 10 tournaments he competed in and landed in the top 10 six times. The Lone Star Conference Golfer of the Year collected nine rounds in the 60s in the 29 he completed and had 18 rounds of par or better. He won two tournaments in his final season, bringing home the title for the Skip Wagnon Invitational and the DBU Classic and holds the school individual low round record of 62 from the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite on Oct. 27, 2024.
Kaikaew was also honored this season with PING All-Region and Lone Star All-Academic awards.
