Dupre and Reed Named WGCA All-Region

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — St. Mary's University Women's Golfers Savannah Dupre and Rebecca Reed have been named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) West All-Region team, the association announced Monday.
 
Dupre, a freshman from Boerne, Texas, made her return to the lineup at the NCAA Regional, where she tied for ninth place with a three-round total of 217. Dupre has ended in the top 20 in five of the six tournaments she's competed in and has three top 10 finishes – including the title at the Midwestern State Invitational.
 
Reed, a senior from Midland, Texas, has placed inside the top 25 in 10 of the 11 tournaments this season with four top 10 finishes. She was the Lone Star Conference Academic Golfer of the Year for the second-straight season and leads the team with 11 rounds of par or better this season.
 
The Rattlers begin competition at the NCAA Championship on Tuesday, May 21. The team will tee off from hole one between 11:20 a.m.-12 p.m. (ET) at the Orange County National – Panther Lake Course.
