•   St. Mary's takes place in a rare three-day tournament this week, competing in the Las Vegas Desert Classic on Sunday through Tuesday. The tournament is hosted by Missouri-St. Louis at the Boulder Creek Golf Club. The Rattlers will be one of 20 teams in the field that will have a shotgun start at Noon (Pacific)/2 p.m. (Central).
•   The Rattlers finished third at their home tournament, shooting a three-round total of 891 at The Dominion Country Club. Junior Aidan Fitzgerald had the best tournament of his career, finishing third with a 215 (74-71-70). Tanner Lundgren was one shot behind him for a fourth-place finish (72-71-73). Freshman transfer Oscar Sandberg shot a low round of 71 in the second round of his second tournament with the Rattlers.
•   The lineup for the Las Vegas Desert Classic will be: Aidan Fitzgerald (1), Tanner Lundgren (2), Oscar Sandberg (3), Sebastian Tannum Donaldson (4) and Jose Maria Gallegos (5).
•   Sebastian Tannum Donaldson was named the Lone Star Conference's first Golfer of the Week for the spring after winning the Jack Brown Memorial Invitational. It is the first weekly award for the Englishman.
•   A season ago, the Rattlers finished sixth at the Las Vegas Desert Classic, though it was at a different course (Legacy Golf Club). Sebastian Tannum Donaldson shot a 222 to tie for 25th, while Tanner Lundgren finished in a tie for 54th after carding a 229.Â
•   Aidan Fitzgerald, Tanner Lundgren and Sebastian Tannum Donaldson were all honored on the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the first semester. All three posted over a 3.30 GPA for the fall, 2022 semester
•   The Rattlers have had three individuals win medalist honors this season. It is the first time since 2018-19 the Rattlers have had multiple players win individual tournament titles. 18-19, Emilio Gonzalez won two titles, and Jake Stevenson won one.
•   Junior Tanner Lundgren has shot 25 rounds at par or better during his career, needing one more to climb into the top 10. Sebastian Tannum Donaldson is right behind him with 19 rounds in his third season on the team.
