HOUSTON – The St. Mary's Women's Golf team concluded the Southern Invite in a tie for fifth place, totaling 907 over the three rounds.

The Rattlers tied with Lone Star Conference foe UT Tyler, while DBU won the tournament with a two-day total of 879.

For the second-straight tournament, senior
Estelle Beck (Lakeway, Texas) tied for 11th, this time knotting fellow senior
Rebecca Reed (Midland, Texas) with identical scores of 222. Beck tied for the lowest individual round of the tournament, carding a 69 on Tuesday.

Sophomore
Libby Kilbride (Sheffield, England) ended in a tie for 34th place after shooting a 231 (77-73-81), while junior
Jordyn Wray (San Antonio) was two strokes behind her in a tie for 38th (79-75-79). Sophomore
Orla O'Leary (Galashiels, Scotland) rounded out the team with a 238 (78-75-85) to tie for 55th.

The Rattlers finished second in the tournament in par 5 scoring, ending at four-over par and led the way with four of the seven eagles in the field. Wray also finished second in par 5s, going three-under par as she tallied three eagles in the three rounds. Kilbride recorded the other for the Gold & Blue.

St. Mary's hosts the annual Rattler Invitational next week at the Dominion Country Club. Tee times will be at 8:15 on Monday morning at the 22nd edition of the tournament.
