RICHARDSON, Texas -- Two days after tying the school record for lowest 54-hole tournament with her 210, St. Mary's senior
Rebecca Reed was named the Lone Star Conference Women's Golfer of the Week.
Reed tied for fourth at the DBU Women's Classic with a 210 total (71-68-71) and she has now shot five straight rounds at par or better. The Midland, Texas native was the top finisher from the Lone Star Conference amongst five league teams.
Reed ties the school record, held by
Sofia Ruescas from the 2021 NCAA West Regional and shaves three strokes off her previous low total of 213.
It is the first weekly award of Reed's career from the Lone Star Conference.
