Five Women's Golfers Named All-American Scholar Athletes by WGCA

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – In one of the most stringent criteria amongst coaches' associations, five St. Mary's Women's Golf student-athletes have been named to the 2021-22 WGCA All-American Scholar-Athlete team, the association announced.
 
Estelle Beck (Lakeway, Texas), Maria Ferrer (Queretaro, Queretaro, Mexico), Rebecca Reed (Midland, Texas), Megan Sells (San Antonio) and Madalyn Trevino (San Antonio) were all honored by the Women's Golf Coaches Association after posting cumulative 3.50 grade point averages or higher. 
 
A total of 1,485 women's collegiate golfers earned the honor – honoring student-athletes from all three levels of NCAA.
 
The Rattlers posted a team GPA of 3.871 to win the Lone Star Academic Team Champion award a week ago.
