RICHARDSON, Texas -- The Lone Star Conference announced Tuesday the third annual Athletic Performance All-Conference Team and St. Mary's golfers
Madalyn Trevino and
Tanner Lundgren were two of the 17 student-athletes honored.
Trevino, a freshman on the golf team set the tone in the weight room, pushing herself to new heights and gaining strength throughout the year, while Lundgren used his time with the strength and conditioning program to shave three strokes off his round average from last season and his tireless work ethic helped land him a scholarship on the team.
The all-conference team recognizes student-athletes who excel in work ethic, dedication to process, attendance, communication, leadership and growth. The individual awards are voted upon by the league's athletic performance staff.
