BULLARD, Texas – Posting the third-lowest 54-hole tournament total in school history, St. Mary's junior
Rebecca Reed finished second at the King-Alfred Invitational on Tuesday.

The Rattlers went 2-1 in the match play tournament, including a victory over host UT Tyler in the final round to finish in third place. The three-round total of 891 is the second-lowest total this season and is the seventh-lowest in school history.

Reed turned in a 213 (74-69-70) and her second round of 69 is the lowest of the year for the Gold & Blue. Her 213 was good for a runner-up finish at the tournament and the third-lowest total in Rattlers history.

Senior
Sofia Ruescas (San Sebastián de los Reyes, Spain) tied for 10th place after carding a 220 (74-73-73). It is the sixth time this season she's finished in the top 10. Junior
Estelle Beck (Lakeway, Texas) bounced back from a tough second round to shoot one-over, 72, for a 17th-place finish and a tournament total of 225.

Madalyn Trevino and
Jordyn Wray finished in ties for 23rd and 38th places, respectively after totaling 233 and 248.

The Rattlers turn their attention to Tucson, Ariz., for the West Texas A&M Desert Classic on April 4-5 before heading to the Lone Star Conference Championship April 20-23.
