157 Rattlers Named To 2021 Fall Lone Star Commissioner's Honor Roll

 RICHARDSON, Texas – The Lone Star Conference announced that 2,293 student-athletes have earned Commissioner's Honor Roll honors for the 2021-22 fall semester and St. Mary's had 157 named to the team.
 
Of the 2,293 honorees, 738 (32.2%) earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average (GPA) for the fall semester, which includes 23 Rattlers. For the seventh consecutive semester the St. Mary's department of athletics has recorded a 3.3 GPA or better as a whole.
 
"The entire St. Mary's community is extremely proud of how our student-athletes represent the University academically, socially and athletically," said Executive Director of Athletics Robert Coleman. "These results earned in the classroom are a testament to the continued commitment to excellence demonstrated by our student-athletes, faculty and their coaches."
 
The baseball team led the way with 35 selections to the Honor Roll, while women's soccer was second with 21 honorees.
 
The Commissioner's Honor Roll is announced at the conclusion of the fall and spring semesters with student-athletes, athletic training, and athletic performance students qualifying based on grade point average for the current semester.  To be eligible for the honor roll, individuals must have a minimum 3.30 GPA for the current semester and be on the roster.
 
Those listed with an * after their name recorded a perfect 4.00 GPA for the fall, 2021 semester.
