Thank You for Another Successful Buddy Meyer Golf Tournament

10/9/2026 9:09:00 AM

SAN ANTONIO – For over four decades, the Buddy Meyer Golf Tournament hosted by the St. Mary's University Department of Athletics has been a fun way to raise money for scholarships and operating expenses and this year was no exception as the golfers and volunteers had a beautiful day of sunshine and cooler weather at the Quarry Golf Course on Monday, Oct. 5.

This special event raised over $100,000 for the department and St. Mary's is grateful for everyone who took the time to golf, donate, or assist in the organization of one of the department's longest-running events.

The event featured two rounds of shotgun golf with two meals provided to each grouping as well as prizes for the winning team and the contestants with the longest drive and closest to the pin. There were also raffles for golf clubs and other prizes and a silent auction.
