AUSTIN – St. Mary's Women's Golf concluded the St. Edward's University Crosswind Gloves Invite on Tuesday with a final round 316 to finish in ninth place. The Rattlers shot a first round 307 for a total score of 623.
Freshman
Estelle Beck carded a four-over 74, the low round for the Rattlers. Beck's first round 76 gave her a two-round total of 150 to finish in a tie for 12
th place. Beck finished with six birdies, second most in the field and led the field in par three scoring, shooting one-under for the tournament.
Sofia Ruescas fired two rounds of 76 for a 152 putting her in a tie for 20
th place. The junior tallied a tournament-high 28 pars.
Jordyn Wray shot a 160 (79-81) for the tournament and carded three birdies, finishing tied for 47
th place.
Megan Sells turned in a 76 in the opening round and shot an 85 in the final round to finish with a 161 and tied for 50
th while
Isabella Carmona followed up her first round 87 with a 93 to finish tied for 79
th.
St. Mary's will stay home next week as they host the Rattler Invite at The Dominion Country Club on Monday and Tuesday.
