ST. ALBANS, Mo. – The St. Mary's University Women's Golf team earned a 10
th place finish at the NCAA Golf National Preview hosted by Lindenwood University at the Country Club of St. Albans on Monday and Tuesday.
The Rattlers began the third round in 12
th place and carded a 316 in the final round, two strokes better than the second round and 26 strokes better than the opening round to move up to 10
th place.
Sofia Ruescas gained nine places in the final round finishing in a tie for ninth-place with a team-low score of 230 (81-77-72). Freshman
Jordyn Wray fired a 241 to finish in a tie for 29
th place.
Megan Sells carded a three-round total of 242 (82-81-79) to finish in a tie for 33
rd while
Estelle Beck finished in a tie for 66
th.
The Rattlers will return to the links next Monday as they participate in the Regional Preview in Carlsbad, California.
