Women’s Golf takes second at Patriot Match Play

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — In the final round of the Patriot Match Play, St. Mary's fell in the championship round to host DBU on Tuesday.
 
The Rattlers were led by a one-under par 71 by Sofia Ruescas, who tied for third on the individual leaderboard.
 
A final round 75 from Paige Weiss earned her a top-10 finish, tied for seventh. Maria Regina Gonzalez carded a 77 on the final day while a 78 from Haleigh Jordan and an 82 from Megan Sells rounded out the Rattler scores.
 
In two weeks, the Rattlers will return to the course for the DBU Women's Fall Classic.
