St. Mary’s finishes 10th at UIndy Invitational

CARMEL, Indiana — A turbulent final round for St. Mary's led to a 10th place finish at the UIndy Invitational on Tuesday at the Prairie View Golf Club.

Leading the Rattlers on the final day was Maria Regina Gonzalez who fired her best round of the tournament with an even-par 72. She would finish six-over for the tournament to place tied for 14th on the individual leaderboard.

Paige Weiss shot a final round 77 to finish three shots back of Gonzalez while Sofia Ruescas carded a 79 and Megan Sells an 86 to complete the Rattler scores.

The Rattlers will head to Dallas next for the Patriot Match Play on Sept. 24, hosted by DBU.
