CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Rattler Women's Golf stood tall at the end of the Islander Classic, finishing atop the leaderboard of an 11-team field that featured a number of NCAA Division I institutions.
 
St. Mary's would win by four strokes and were led by Maria Regina Gonzalez who posted her best round of the tournament with a 2-over par 74, finishing tied for fifth on the individual leaderboard.
 
Kelly Contreras finished in the top-10 as she carded a final round 77 while Paige Weiss ended the tournament with a 79, finishing tied for 11th.
 
A final round 83 from Sofia Ruescas and an 8-over par 80 from Haleigh Jordan rounded the Rattlers' scores.
