Solid final round ends Rattlers' fall season

DALLAS — The Golf Club of Texas was the sight of the final round of the Dallas Baptist Women's Patriot Golf Classic as St. Mary's would finish third out of 16 in the team's final tournament of the calendar year.
 
Leading the way for the Rattlers was sophomore Maria Regina Gonzalez who fired a final round 75 placing her tied for fifth on the overall leaderboard.
 
Kelly Contreras finished tied for ninth after carding her best round of the tournament with a one-over 73. Paige Weiss followed suit, posting a final round 73, placing her tied for 13th.
 
Allison Howarth tied for 30th, shooting a 232 for the tournament as Mackenzie Thayer finished tied for 48th.
 
The Rattlers now set their sights on the spring season when they host the Lady Rattler Invitational on Feb. 12, 2017.
