SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's Women's Golf completed the final day of the Lady Rattler Invitational Tuesday, finishing 13
th overall.
The Rattlers carded a final stroke count of 662 as a team to end 13
th out of the 18-team tournament held at the Dominion Golf Course.
Rival St. Edward's took the tournament crown after finishing with a team score of 599, followed by Tarleton State and Chico State.
The Hilltoppers' Haley Haught won the tournament individually after carding an impressive 64 on the 72-par course in the final round for a final score of 141.
Allison Howarth (RS-Fr., San Antonio) led for the Rattlers, tying for 15
th place with a final stroke count 157 after carding a 79 and 78 for the tournament's two rounds.
Bailey Furegson (Jr., Newcastle, Calif.) finished tied for 44
th place with a final score of 165 followed by
Daryn Petermann (Jr., Comfort, Texas) who finished tied for 58
th place after carding an 87 and 82.
St. Mary's will begin its next tournament starting Monday at the St. Edward's Invitational in Austin, Texas at the Grey Rock Golf Club.
