SAN ANGELO, Texas — St. Mary's
Allison Howarth moved up the leaderboard Tuesday at Angelo State's Concho River Classic, cracking the top 10 by tying for ninth place.
Howarth, a sophomore transfer from the University of Texas at San Antonio, shot matching 75s over the first and second rounds for a score of 150 for the tournament. She helped lead the Rattlers to 10
th place as a team in their first tournament of the season.
Led by a trio of top-10 finishers, St. Edward's won the tournament with a score of 596, while West Texas A&M's Glory Jangthongsiri took the individual crown by carding a 141.
Bailey Furgeson turned in the Rattlers' second-best score with a 163, while
Daryn Petermann shot 174.
