Women's Golf finishes 15th at Midwestern State Invitational

WICHITA FALLS, Texas — The St. Mary's women's golf team finished 15h at the Midwestern State Invitational on Tuesday.

Julia Dickens (Sr., Fredericksburg, Texas) carded the best finish for the Lady Rattlers, tying for 32nd place after scoring 83 and 81 for the tournament's two rounds.

Midwestern State took the 18-team tournament with a score of 623, but it was Oklahoma Christian University's Anna Arrese Cortadel who finished in first with 146.

Bailey Furgeson (So., Newcastle, Calif.) finished four strokes behind St. Mary's leader Dickens, tying for 52nd place. Daryn Petermann (So., Comfort, Texas) finished tied for 67th place followed by Camille Furgeson (Sr., Newcastle, Calif.), who tied for 80th place.

St. Mary's will compete in its last regular-season tournament before the Heartland Conference Tournament starting Mon., April 8 at the Doc Housewright Invitational in Granbury, Texas.
