AUSTIN, Texas — The Lady Rattlers have completed their stint at the St. Edward's Invitational, finishing 14th overall.
Julia Dickens (Sr., Fredericksburg, Texas) led the way for St. Mary's, finishing 28th after shooting an 85 and 86 for the tournament's two rounds.
Camille Furgeson (Sr., Newcastle, Calif.) and
Daryn Petermann (So., Comfort, Texas) finished tied for 63rd and 69th place, respectively, and Bailey Furegon (So., Newcastle, Calif.) finished 71st.
As a four-person team, the Rattlers completed the 15-team tournament at 14th place, beating out provisional conference member McMurry University. St. Edward's took the tournament, winning with a team score of 632 with its top golfer, Ryanne Haddow, taking first place with a final score of 155. Dallas Baptist University and Tarleton State University carded well for second and third place.
St. Mary's starts its next tournament Monday at the Texoma Chevy Deals Lion Intercollegiate in Pottsboro, Texas.
