2024 (SENIOR)
Balanced baseball and law school, pitching 24 innings over 19 appearances… Was 1-0 with two saves, earning the win against UT Tyler on Feb. 10 where he didn’t allow any hits over 2.2 innings… Posted his saves against Oklahoma Christian on Feb. 24 and April 12 against West Texas A&M, where he needed only six pitches to retire the side in order.
2023 (JUNIOR)
Was 1-1 with one save and a 5.52 ERA in 11 appearances, struggling with an injury… Pitched 14.2 innings with nine strikeouts… Opponents hit only .211 against him, the second-lowest average on the team behind All-Region selection Andrew Girod… Lone win came against Eastern New Mexico, where he fanned two in 1.1 innings for the 5-4 victory on April 22… Had a save at Cameron in his final appearance of the year, recording the final out on one pitch for an 8-7 win… Named to the Lone Star Commissioner’s Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters.
2022 (SOPHOMORE)
Appeared in 14 games, starting in one... Had an 0-1 record over 19.2 innings of work... Struck out 15 in those 19.2 innings.
PRIOR TO StMU
Appeared in 21 games, starting in four for Wharton JC in 2021... Was 2-1 with four saves over 39.1 innings of work... Redshirted his first season at Texas State (2020).
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Sinton High School... Selected as 2019 TSWA All-State 4A honorable mention as a pitcher and shortstop... Went 7-2 with a 1.25 ERA and 114 strikeouts in 73 innings as a senior... Batted .406 with 36 runs, 27 RBI and 12 doubles in 2019... Named District 31-4A Junior MVP... Recorded 68 strikeouts and a 1.57 ERA in 53.2 innings over 11 games on the mound as a junior... Hit .345 with a .424 OBP, 19 RBI and 20 runs scored in 2018... Selected as District 31-4A Sophomore MVP... Part of team that reached the UIL 4A Region 4 Area Finals... Picked to TSWA All-State 4A honorable mention as a third baseman as a freshman... 2016 THSBCA All-State 4A Third Team pick at third base... All-District 31-4A Second Team as a freshman... Batted .452 with 19 RBI, 18 runs and seven doubles in 2016... Was 10-3 with a 1.25 ERA and 243 strikeouts in 168.2 innings of 35 games in his prep career... Hit .394 with 137 hits, 81 runs, 78 RBI and 26 doubles for his high school career... Also competed for the football and track teams... District high jump champion as a sophomore... Member the National Honor Society, Student Council and was the Student Council President his senior year.
