RICHARDSON, Texas — The Lone Star Conference announced the Commissioner's Honor Roll on Tuesday, and St. Mary's University had 164 student-athletes honored on the team for the Spring 2025 semester.
The 164 honorees rank fifth among the 17 teams in the league, and StMU is the only team in the top five without track & field. The Commissioner's Honor Roll is announced at the conclusion of the fall and the spring semesters, with student-athlete qualification based on their GPA for the specified semester. To be eligible for the recognition, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.30 GPA for the semester and be on the institution's sport roster. UT Tyler led the league with 229 selections, while Lubbock Christian was second with 221, followed by Eastern New Mexico (179) and Angelo State (169).
Of the 164 named to the team for St. Mary's, 40 earned a perfect 4.00 GPA for the semester. The Spring 2025 semester also marks the 14th consecutive semester the department has combined for over a 3.30 GPA.
