NORMAN, Okla. — For the second-straight season, St. Mary's University golfer Kongpop Kaikaew has earned PING All-Region honors, while Guillaume Paquette joins him on the team for the first time in his career.

Kaikaew, a senior from Rayong, Thailand, was named to the South Central All-Region team for the second time in his storied career. He finished in the top 25 in eight of the 10 tournaments he competed in, and six times landed in the top 10. The Lone Star Conference Golfer of the Year collected nine rounds in the 60s in the 29 he completed and had 18 of par or better. He won two tournaments in his final season, bringing home the title for the Skip Wagnon Invitational and the DBU Classic and holds the school individual low round record of 62 from the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite on Oct. 27, 2024.

Paquette, a sophomore from La Minerve, Quebec, has made quite a name for himself in his second year. He finished inside the top 25 seven times and was a top 10 finisher four times. Paquette earned Lone Star All-Tournament honors after placing fourth at the conference championship, and he shot a career-low 63 during the Skip Wagnon Invitational on Oct. 6, 2025. He was named to the Lone Star All-Conference Second Team and averaged 72.34 strokes per round in his sophomore campaign.
