RICHARDSON, Texas — After recording a one-over-par 145 in the first tournament of the season, St. Mary's University sophomore
Guillaume Paquette has been named the Lone Star Conference Men's Golfer of the Week.
Paquette, from La Minerve, Quebec, helped lead the Rattlers to a fourth-place finish at the Travis Roy Memorial in Sheridan, Wyo., on Tuesday, Sept. 16. He started the 2025-26 campaign with an even-par round of 72 on Monday and followed it up with a 73 on Tuesday to finish tied for 11th place.
Paquette shot two eagles over the two rounds, adding five birdies and 20 pars over the 36 holes. He was one of five golfers in the field with two eagles.
It is the second weekly LSC award of Paquette's career, as he also earned Golfer of the Week honors on April 10, 2025, after winning the Battle at Riverhill.
The Rattlers will compete in the Skip Wagnon Invitational on Oct. 6-7 in Edmond, Okla., at the KickingBird Golf Club.
