RICHARDSON, Texas — St. Mary's University freshman
Guillaume Paquette became the third different Rattler this season to be named Lone Star Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, earning the honor on Thursday, April 10.
Paquette, a freshman from La Minerve, Quebec, won the Battle at Riverhill with a three-round total of 205 (71-66-68), helping the Rattlers win the team title by 33 strokes. Paquette shot a career-low round of 66 in the second round, scorching the back nine with five birdies and four pars. For the tournament, Paquette recorded four bogeys, 13 birdies and one eagle for the first medalist honor of his career.
He joins
Kongpop Kaikaew and
Baptiste Touchard as Rattlers who have won the weekly award this season. Kaikaew has earned the honor twice in 2024-25.
The Rattlers will compete in the Lone Star Conference Tournament April 14-16 at the Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club.
