SAN ANTONIO — The No. 11 St. Mary's University Women's Golf team erased a nine-stroke deficit during the third round of the 2025 Rattler Invitational to win the tournament by one stroke over Odessa College 882-883.
The win is the second for the Rattlers this spring in three tournaments, and the club has finished in the top three in all seven events this year.
Senior
Libby Kilbride (Sheffield, England) provided the final exclamation point on the tournament with an eagle on 18, her final hole of the week. Kilbride was 92 yards out and punched it in for a 70 in her final round and a 217 (73-74-70) to tie for third place. (Watch eagle shot

Sophomore
Savannah Dupre (Boerne, Texas) continued her stellar play, carding an even-par 72 in the final round to win the second tournament of her career (Midwestern State Invitational, Oct. 16-17, 2023). Dupre won the title by six strokes and was the only player in the field to shoot under par. Her 210 ties for the second-lowest 54-hole total in tournament history, while her 69s from the first two rounds tie for the fourth-lowest in the 24th edition of the Rattler Invitational. Dupre led the field, shooting four-under-par in par-4 scoring and five-under in par-5 scoring.
Freshman
Gladys Taboada (Puebla, Mexico) shot a three-round 226 (75-75-76), ending 10-over-par to tie for 11th place. It is the third tournament of her career and the second time she's finished in the top 25.
Senior
Orla O'Leary (Galashiels, Scotland) and sophomore
Sabree Lefebvre (Riverview, Fla.) tied for 22nd, while sophomore
Taylor Wilczek (Anthem, Ariz.) was one stroke behind them with a 233 (78-80-75) to finish tied for 25th.
Five of the six Rattlers finished in the top 10 in pars achieved, hitting 33 or more in the 54 holes. Dupre was also second with 12 birdies and O'Leary was tied for sixth with nine.
St. Mary's heads to Destin, Florida, to participate in the Emerald Coast Collegiate, March 9-11. A season ago, the Rattlers tied for second at the tournament.
