RICHARDSON, Texas — For the second straight season, St. Mary's University Men's Soccer player
Luke Mulkey has been named to the Lone Star All-Conference team, the league announced on Tuesday.
Mulkey, a senior defender from Parker, Texas, and senior goalkeeper
Johnny Thurbin (Lingfield, Surrey, England) were also voted to the LSC All-Academic Team. The team is voted on by the league's sports information personnel. This is the second year in a row that Thurbin has earned All-Academic, while it is the first award for Mulkey.
Mulkey was voted to the Third-Team in a vote by the conference coaches after starting in all 17 games. Mulkey tied for the team lead with five points, scoring two goals and adding an assist.
The Rattlers finished the season 3-8-6 overall and 2-7-1 in Lone Star Conference play.
