First Pitch

•    St. Mary's heads north for the South Central Regional Crossover, where they will face MSU Denver and #21 Colorado Christian. The schedule has been altered due to forecasted snow in Colorado.

•    The Rattlers have been chosed to finish eighth in the Lone Star Conference standings in the preseason poll.

•    Both Jadyn Abrego and Reba Reyes have reached base safely in all seven games this season, while Raegan Tennill reached in the first six.

•    St. Mary's has started the season patient at the plate, drawing 28 walks compared to just 16 for the opponents.

•    The Rattlers are averaging 2.0 stolen bases per game this season. Six different players have swiped at least one bag, led by Raegan Tennill with five. 

•    Junior catcher Mene'e Padilla has already thrown out six would-be base stealers this season, bringing her career total to 11.

•    Senior Sara Robertson is willing to do whatever she can to help the team. On Tuesday at Texas Lutheran she started in left field for the first time in her career.
