RICHARDSON, Texas — After winning their 2024 Lone Star Conference season opener in dominating fashion, the St. Mary's University STUNT team was awarded both the Lone Star Conference Stunter and Tumbler of the Week honors.

Alecka Brown earned 42 points in helping St. Mary's to its first-ever Lone Star Conference victory, an 18-5 victory against Texas Woman's. The sophomore competed in both the partner stunts and jumps #7, the highest routines completed during the competition, and was named the player of the game for her efforts.

For the second-straight week,
M'Lynn Griego was named the tumbler of the game, this week after lifting St. Mary's to an 18-5 victory over Lone Star Conference foe TWU, in the Rattlers' first-ever LSC contest. The sophomore tumbler competed in seven of the eight jumps and tumbling routines during the game.
The Rattlers head to Denton this weekend to take part in the TWU Tournament.
