•    The longest rivalry in school history has an extra level of interest this season as former assistant coach Hailey Post left the Rattlers to become the head coach at St. Edward's for 2024. Post was Coach Donna Fields assistant for six seasons.

•    The Rattlers are 117-54 all-time against the Hilltoppers and have won eight of the last nine in the series with the lone loss, 1-0 a season ago.

•    Sophomore Raegan Tennill has nine multi-hit games in 2024, four more than any other Rattler and eight more than she recorded as a freshman.

•    The Rattlers have drawn 76 walks, good for fifth in the nation and second in the Lone Star Conference.

•    Junior SS Lauryn Ramos raised her batting average over 100 points last week, hitting .833 (5-for-6) against Texas A&M Kingsville.

•    Senior centerfielder Reba Reyes currently ranks seventh in St. Mary's history in hit by pitches with 15 and moved up into a tie for sixth all-time with nine sacrifice flies.

•    St. Mary's currently ranks 25th in the nation in doubles with 26 and 22nd in the nation with 144 hits.
