First Pitch

•    St. Mary's kicks off a six-game home stretch when they welcome Texas A&M Kingsville to town for a three-game series on Tuesday and Wednesday.

•    The Rattlers hold a 77-39 edge in the all-time series with the Javelinas and won all three meetings a year ago. In San Antonio, StMU holds a 42-14 edge.

•    Senior centerfielder Reba Reyes currently ranks seventh in St. Mary's history in hit by pitches with 15 and moved up into a tie for sixth all-time with nine sacrifice flies.

•    The Rattlers have drawn 66 walks, seven off the nation's lead of 72 by Lincoln Memorial to rank second among Division II teams. On the flip side, Rattlers pitching has walked only 35.

•    St. Mary's currently ranks 15th in the nation in doubles with 23 and 16th in the nation with 114 hits. Both numbers are good for second in the Lone Star Conference.

•    Sophomore Raegan Tennill leads the team with six stolen bases, already passing her freshman total of five swipes.
