DALLAS — It's not every day a team has to go up against a pair of teams ranked No. 2 in the nation, but that's what faced the St. Mary's University STUNT team on Friday at the DBU Patriots Classic as the Rattlers lost to DII No. 2 Oklahoma Baptist, 24-0, and Club No. 2 Oklahoma State, 23-1.

The scores were absolutely not indicative of how competitive the Rattlers were against two powerhouse teams, as several routines came down to minuscule adjustments. St. Mary's also competed in a routine eight for the first time this season, doing so in the third routine of quarter three against Oklahoma State. It is the third time in the history of the program the team put a routine together for a routine 8 and the first team points were awarded to either team.

The lone point for the Rattlers against OSU came in the first quarter as they won routine two in the second slot of the stanza.

St. Mary's wraps up the tournament against No. 10 Drury. The game is scheduled for 5:15 p.m., however today's events were both an hour behind the posted time.
