•    St. Mary's kicks off the 2024 Lone Star Conference season at Western New Mexico on Friday at 2 p.m. The Rattlers hold a 13-7 lead in the all-time series with the Mustangs and have won the last four.

•    The Rattlers are 3-1 all-time in Lone Star Conference openers, winning the first three years before losing 3-2 in 11 innings a season ago to Eastern New Mexico.

•    Both of the Rattlers wins last week were come-from-behind victories. They trailed 7-2 against #21 Colorado Christian in game two and scored 10 in the final two innings to win 12-10. On Sunday, they trailed 5-0 at MSU Denver and scored six in the seventh to win it.

•    Senior centerfielder Reba Reyes has both of the team's home runs this season and leads the team with 10 RBI. She has also drawn a team-best 10 walks and been plunked twice.

•    The Rattlers have drawn 51 walks, one off the nation's lead of 52 by Lincoln Memorial to rank second among Division II teams. On the flip side, Rattlers pitching has walked only 28.
