SAN ANTONIO — The St. Mary's University Esports teams had an electric week, with Rocket League continuing their win streak with a 4-1 victory over Bethel, and Rainbow Six with a decisive 2-0 victory over Southern Maine.
Wednesday, October 23 the Rocket League team came out of the gate running with a Match 1 score of 7-1, setting the tone for the evening. Sophomore
Troy Johnson (San Antonio) was the decisive MVP of the series: scoring 3-of-4 goals in Match 2 and all three goals in Match 3.
Although the team stumbled in Match 4, with Bethel outscoring the Rattlers 3-to-2, the team finished Match 5 with a 3-0 score, winning the series and remaining the top seed in their ECAC group. Rocket League is led by Team Manager
