SAN ANTONIO — The ECAC Esports recently released its Fall 2025 All-Academic teams, and the St. Mary's University Esports team had 10 named to the team.
The Call of Duty, Fortnite and Rocket League teams each saw three named to the team, while
Iliana Fuentes (San Antonio) was the lone representative from the Valorant squad. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.20 GPA for the semester.
David Kamel (San Antonio) and
Victor Yacaman (San Pedro Sula, Honduras) are four-time selections, while
Xander Castillo (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and
Chelsy Tinacba (San Antonio) are three-time honorees on the team, and
Julian Garcia (San Antonio) and
Mariana Perez Romero (Maracaibo, Venezuela) have both been named to the team twice.
