Hot-shooting Falcons Sink Women’s Basketball

Box Score ODESSA, Texas — With the UT Permian Basin Women's Basketball playing for two huge milestones, the St. Mary's Rattlers knew coming in the task ahead of them would be tough and that proved the case as they fell 73-36 on Saturday.
 
The Falcons (15-3, 10-2) won a school-record 10th-straight home game and Head Coach Rae Booth became the UTPB all-time winningest coach with the victory.
 
Junior Stina Svilberg (Tallinn, Estonia) tied her career-high with 12 points, leading the Rattlers (3-15, 3-9 Lone Star) in scoring, while freshman Ramsey Robledo (San Antonio) led with seven rebounds. Both Svilberg and senior Ariah Powell (Detroit, Mich.) had three assists each.
 
Makayla Bingley led the Falcons with 21 points, while Alexus Quaadman collected a double-double with 12 points and 16 rebounds.
 
St. Mary's returns home to begin the second half of Lone Star action, hosting Texas A&M International on Thursday and Texas A&M Kingsville on Saturday for Youth Day.
