•   St. Mary's is the seventh-seed at the Lone Star Conference Championship after finishing the regular season 31-24. The team faces 10th-seeded Eastern New Mexico in the 11 a.m. contest. It is the third appearance for both teams in the tournament, the third-straight for the Rattlers and the first since 2002 for the Greyhounds.
•   At the StMU Athletics banquet junior Lauren Gonzales earned Newcomer, Maddie Bloom was named the Breakout Athlete and Reba Reyes earned Sports Performance Athlete of the Year.
•   The Rattlers lead the Lone Star Conference and NCAA statistics in sacrifice flies (28). The club also ranks second in the conference in double plays (19), sacrifice bunts (48), stolen bases (110) and walks drawn (194) - and all five statistics rank in the top 25 in the nation.
•   StMU is 2-2 all-time at the Lone Star Conference Championship with wins over Cameron and St. Edward's and losses to Oklahoma Christian and Texas A&M Kingsville.
