• St. Mary's wrapped up the non-conference slate with a 3-1 trip to Florida and now faces one of the toughest tests in school history with #2 UT Tyler on Friday and DBU on Saturday.
• Friday will mark the third time in school history the team has faced a team ranked second in the country and the Rattlers are looking for their first win. On March 20, 2016 the team lost 5-0 to Hawaii-Hilo in Denver and on March 16, 2017 the team fell 8-1 at Saint Leo.
• StMU has won four of its last five matches with the lone loss coming by one point to undefeated St. Thomas Aquinas, 4-3.
• The Rattlers are 0-3 all-time against UT Tyler, with two of the three meetings coming last season. The Patriots knocked StMU out of the NCAA Regional Tournament in 2022.
• St. Mary's holds a 16-1 record all-time against DBU with a 9-0 mark on the road. The Rattlers have won 12 straight against the Patriots.
• Sophomore Alvaro Soler moved to #52 in the national rankings. On March 8, Soler appeared for the first time in his career at #31.
• Several Rattlers are climbing the career doubles victories charts in school history. With his three victories in Florida, Nicolas Llosa is now tied for ninth in school history. He and Brendan Brown (2017-21) have both won 38 times and with one more win, Llosa will tie Saisaurav Konakanchi (2017-21) for eighth with 39. Jake Faryniarz is 11th with 31 and Sebastian Azcui is 12th with 28 wins. Jeremiah Sanchez (2016-21) holds the career record with 66 doubles wins.
• Junior Nicolas Llosa is also seventh on the career singles wins chart with 33, passing Bojan Popovic (2016-20) who had 30. Jeremiah Sanchez owns that record as well with 70 victories. Junior Oskar Irdoja won four in Florida to bring his win total to 27, which moves him to ninth on the chart past Richard Foley (2013-17).
• Daniel Matheu Baldor was named the Lone Star Conference Player of the Week after the team's win over Schreiner. It was the first weekly honor of his career.
