•   St. Mary's hosts Cameron on Tuesday and Wednesday before playing at Angelo State over the weekend. The Rattlers and Aggies split a season ago in Lawton, while StMU is looking to snap an 11-game losing streak against the Rambelles.
•   St. Mary's is in seventh place in the Lone Star Conference standings with a 10-8 record. Both opponents this week are right ahead of the Rattlers, tied for fifth with identical 12-9 marks.
•   St. Mary's is currently 6-3 against teams that made the NCAA Tournament last year. The Rattlers have nine games left on the schedule against 2022 tournament squads, including three against College World Series participant UT Tyler.
•   The Rattlers have 20 sacrifice flies this season, which leads the nation. The total also ranks third in St. Mary's history and is only two shy of the record of 22 by the 2013 club. In second is the 2015 team with 21. Last season, the Rattlers collected 14 sacrifice flies.
