Opening Tip
•   St. Mary's remains at home, hosting Oklahoma Christian on Thursday and UAFS on Saturday. The Rattlers are looking for the season sweep over the Lions.
•   The Rattlers are coming off a great week where they defeated UT Tyler, which was receiving votes in the WBCA poll, 58-54 and dropped a close 45-52 contest to fourth-ranked Texas Woman's.
•   Gabby Elliott has scored at least 10 points in the last 13 games, the longest double figure scoring streak on the team this season. A season ago, Hannah Wilson scored in double figures in the first 14 contests. Elliott has led the team in scoring in 12 of those 13 games, with Jaedyn Dunn (vs ASU) leading in the other.
•   The three wins in Lone Star Conference play surpasses last season's total of two and the Rattlers have six games remaining on the docket.
•   For the first time this season, the Rattlers defense locked down an opponent from beyond the arc as TWU failed to hit one on Saturday.
•   Senior Natalia Ryng has slowly worked her way into being a threat beyond the arc. In her first three years (45 games), she made 6-of-35 (.171) from the three-point line, but in the last six games she is 5-for-12 (.417) from deep and 7-for-18 (.389) on the season.Â
•   Gabby Elliott remains the top-scoring freshman in the Lone Star Conference, ranking 14th overall with 12.7 points per game and seventh in league-only tilts with an average of 14.0 per game. The true freshman also ranks 11th with 7.3 rebounds/game in conference play and 7.1 against all opponents.
•   Senior Briley Perkins ranks eighth in St. Mary's history with 129 three-pointers. She is closing in on Juanita Merchant (2004-08) who is seventh with 141 triples.
•   Senior Tonia Bilic returned to the double figure scoring list with 11 points against Texas Woman's on Saturday. It snapped an 11-game stretch where she scored six or fewer after scoring eight or more in the first 10 of the year.
