STUNT Shows Promise in First Game at DBU

DALLAS – In the first-ever game for the St. Mary's STUNT team, the Rattlers dropped a 21-6 decision to tournament hosts, DBU.

It is the first of four matches on the weekend for the Rattlers (0-1) as they face William Jessup and Oklahoma Baptist on Friday and UT Tyler on Saturday.

Against the Patriots, the Rattlers won the coin flip and started the first quarter with routine one, where each team earned a point. DBU won the second and fourth routines, while the Rattlers won the third for the 3-2 Patriots lead after the first.

The Rattlers won the point to begin the second quarter, but were unable to score again until the final routine of the third period where the teams tied on routine two for the 9-4 score.

St. Mary's finished the night on a strong note, scoring two of three possible points in the final routine of the game for the 21-6 final.
