LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A total of 15 St. Mary's Softball student-athletes were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete list, the association announced.

The Rattlers collectively posted a 3.37 GPA for the year and the 15 honorees are the most for the team since the 2015 and 2021 teams each had 14 named to the elite squad.

Reba Reyes,
Aracelli Sanchez and
Savannah Youngblood all earned the award for the Rattlers.

Carney earned the honor four times, becoming the 10th Rattler to earn All-America Scholar-Athlete in four seasons (there was no award in 2020). Nicole Chavez (2000, 2002-2004), Kelly Baker (2008-2011), Crystal Keller (2010-2013), Laura Benavidez (2012-2015), Hannah Fields (2012-2015), Haley Richter (2012-2015), Jourdan Alvarez (2014-2017), Hannah Michel (2015-2018) and Hope Russell (2015-2018) are the other four-time honorees for StMU.

Aldridge, Christian, Hubacek and Licon were tabbed for the third time in their standout careers. This is the second time Garcia, McLennan and Reyes have appeared on the list.
