• 2022 marks the 16th time in the last 22 seasons the Rattlers have advanced to the NCAA Regional Tournament. The Rattlers are 3-0 against the field in regional action, winning all three against Texas A&M Kingsville.
• In each of the last five games, the Rattlers have recorded more hits than the opponent. St. Mary's are 26-2 this season when out-hitting the opposition.
• For the second-straight week, the Rattlers are in the receiving votes category in the national rankings after missing the previous three polls. There are six other Lone Star teams in the top 25.
• St. Mary's is 6-11 this season against teams ranked in the top 25 in the country.
• Senior Tiffany Licon is one of the hardest hitters in the nation to strike out. She currently is second in the Lone Star Conference and is 13th nationally, striking out once every 37.2 at bats.
• Senior Abigale Carney leads the Rattlers with 10 home runs, needing one more to tie her career-high of 11 from a season ago. One more would also knot Carney for fourth on the school's career charts.
• The Rattlers are outscoring opponents 85-27 in the first two innings of games this season and are 30-10 when they score first.
• Not only did head coach Donna Fields win the 1,000th game of her career this season, but she's led the program to its 1,400th victory.
• The Rattlers have played clean softball this season, ranking second in the conference and 8th in the nation in fielding percentage at .975.
• Senior Jayme Johns was named to the Lone Star All-Conference First Team, while Victoria Aldridge and Catalina Cavazos were Second Team and Tiffany Licon was Third Team.
