•   St. Mary's is in the midst of 10-straight games against teams ranked in the top-15 in the nation. The Rattlers are 5-7 this season against Division II nationally-ranked squads.
•   Freshman Savannah Youngblood is currently tied for the Lone Star Conference lead and ranks sixth in St. Mary's single season history with her four saves. Her total also ties her for sixth in the nation.
•   Senior Jayme Johns ranks among the league leaders, hitting .431 this season. That average also ranks her seventh on the school's charts.
•   After not getting hit by a pitch in the first 143 games of her career, senior Tiffany Licon has been hit twice in the last 14 games.
•   Senior Abigale Carney leads the Rattlers with 10 home runs, needing one more to tie her career-high of 11 from a season ago. One more would also knot Carney for fourth on the school's career charts.
•   Senior Tiffany Licon is one of the hardest hitters in the nation to strike out. She currently leads the Lone Star Conference and is 12th nationally, striking out once every 41 at bats.
•   Junior Catalina Cavazos is currently second in the Lone Star and 18th in the nation with her 17 victories. Those 17 wins are the most for a Rattler since Staci Johns won 17 in 2019.
•   One week after Head Coach Donna Fields won her 1,000th game, the St. Mary's Softball team won its 1,400th in program history. The Rattlers sit at 1,493 wins - and Fields has won 1,006 of those as head coach after becoming the 14th Division II coach to win 1,000 against Eastern New Mexico.
•   The Rattlers are outscoring opponents 78-25 in the first two innings of games this season and are 27-6 when they score first.
•   The loss at #8 Texas A&M Kingsville on Thursday was the team's first loss this year in extra innings. The Rattlers are 5-1 in bonus frame games.
